Dear Family and Friends,
Hello from Hanoi, Viet Nam! We have made the long journey from Sai Gon up the coast to Hanoi by way of several multi-day stops to enjoy this amazing country. The people here have been wonderful; the scenery stunning; the entertainment factor high. Writing from the last few weeks has been kept up rather well, so look for us to begin posting our adventures as soon as possible.
Access to the blog was nonexistent between the two large cities. We shall see if we have a chance to post a few days while in Hanoi. Once we enter Laos, we anticipate access will be even more scarce (especially with the path-less-taken that we intend to try ...), but we shall see!
Anyway, we are well and joyful! Hope your summer is ending well!

Hello there!
We love reading about all your adventures, specially the ones in Amsterdam. Of course it's a lot more fun if you tell them to us in person. So, what do you do in the next few days??? We're staying in the Win Hotel (34 Hang Hanh Street - close to the Hoan Kiem Lake). We'll be around until the 6th. We'd love to catch up!!

Howdy Y'All Smarties Paying Attention to the Comments,
We won't post a formal arrival notice right now, but we are in Vientiane, Laos, after a safe overnight ride that landed us here yesterday afternoon. Just 20 hours on a bus; fun, right?
All's well. We have just a few days in Laos and some important ground to cover before returning to Bangkok to meet up with Cindy Stew and then South to the beach before our 20 Sept return to Europe!! What a great time we have been having!
